At Loislaw, we are constantly looking for ways to streamline the research process and save you time. Most recently, the GlobalCite legal research citation tool has been enhanced by providing less steps to access information and enabling you to hone in on a topic of interest:
A fully-featured Pop-Up Box will now appear with a complete summary of GlobalCite results at the document level. This will eliminate the extra step of clicking the GlobalCite button when viewing a case or other document to see if there are GlobalCite results, and will enable you to see an overview of the results at a glance (e.g. the number of cases, statutes, treatises or other documents that have cited the document you're viewing). There are even hyperlinks directly from the Pop-Up Box to the desired section of GlobalCite results; for example cases only. If no desired results are returned, this new feature will save you time by eliminating the need to click on the GlobalCite button and go down a level further to view the results.
When you need to move past the document level and into the GlobalCite results, this convenient new search tool will enable you to focus in on a particular topic, case, statutory section, etc. within the GlobalCite results list. A simple click of a button activates the Search within GlobalCite results, allowing you to conduct a topical search within the results and hone in on the GlobalCite results that are relevant to you, while eliminating the clutter of results that do not pertain to your research.

Loislaw is pleased to announce a new addition to our search capabilities that will enhance your ability to easily find the content you need.
Since January 1, 2007, in response to Federal Rule of Appellate Procedure (FRAP) 32.1, Loislaw has been adding Federal Circuit Court unpublished opinions to our comprehensive collection of published Circuit Court cases. The addition of these unpublished opinions is creating significant volume within our Circuit Court libraries. As part of our ongoing mission to make your research faster, easier, and more effective, we have placed new "radio" buttons on our Search Page for each of the thirteen Federal Circuits. The buttons will greatly facilitate your research capabilities, providing you with the flexibility of conducting a topical search exclusively for published cases, exclusively for unpublished cases, or for both published and unpublished cases. As always, any unpublished cases on Loislaw are highlighted in blue to make those cases readily distinguishable.
